Frequently Asked Questions
-
A zip file, downloaded instantly after checkout. Lightroom packs contain .xmp preset files plus an install guide. Motion packs contain .cube LUT files built specifically for your camera’s Log format, plus an install guide and a look guide explaining what each one does.
-
Yes. The .xmp format works in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom CC desktop, and Lightroom Mobile — including the free mobile app. They apply to both RAW and JPEG files, though you’ll get more latitude from RAW. Try the free pack first to confirm everything works on your setup before buying.
-
Yes. Every purchase includes a commercial licence — use them on client shoots, social, print, film and advertising. The licence covers one person on the devices you personally use. If you’re a team or agency, each person needs their own licence. You can’t share, resell or redistribute the files themselves.
-
Each purchase includes one download. Save the zip somewhere safe and keep a backup — a cloud drive is ideal. We don’t store or re-issue purchased files, so if you lose them you’d need to buy again. Download on a device with room to unzip, not on a phone with 200MB free.
-
Digital files can’t be returned once delivered, so all sales are final. We do refund genuine failures — if your download never arrives, the file is corrupt and we can’t replace it, or you were charged twice. Email contact@layrkit.com with your order number. That’s exactly why the free pack exists: test everything on your own photos before spending anything.
-
It depends on your camera. iPhone 15 Pro and newer shoot Apple Log. Sony uses S-Log3, DJI uses D-Log, Nikon N-Log, Panasonic V-Log, Canon C-Log3, Fujifilm F-Log2, plus Blackmagic, RED and ARRI. Each pack is built from that format’s published transfer function — one LUT genuinely can’t serve them all. Check your camera’s picture profile setting if you’re unsure.
-
The .cube format is universal — DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and DaVinci for iPad. It also loads as a monitor LUT in the Blackmagic Camera app so you can judge exposure while filming in Log.
-
It’s real. Five full presets — one from each system, pulled straight from the paid packs, not weakened versions — plus neutral Log-to-Rec.709 conversion LUTs for eleven camera formats. No watermark, no expiry, no card required. Test them on your own difficult photos before deciding.
